Anna O'Connell '12 discovered her love of early music as a music education student, studying voice and harp. Now a doctoral student in historical performance practice at Case Western Reserve University, O'Connell recently won the Barbara Thornton scholarship from Early Music America. She discusses the many far-flung locations that her music performance career has taken her, including the Great Wall of China, the Vatican, and World Youth Day in Krakow. Listen to the end to hear her play a 100-string baroque harp.
