What does it mean to have a 'personal brand' and why do you need one? As our world is changing increasingly, maintaining a strong, positive brand not only helps bolster self-esteem, it also builds trust and stronger relationships with people you want in your network. In this session, the branding guru himself, Garry Browne, will share with us the many critical aspects of a personal brand. He will share tips on how you can communicate your values, philosophies, and your positioning in difficult times and in good times.
Garry has over 20 years’ experience as CEO and Managing Director at Stuart Alexander & Co. and now divides his time between Executive and Non-Executive roles in the Corporate, Government and Not-for-Profit space, along with various mentoring and philanthropic projects. He currently Chairs and is a board member on various Boards for Rotary, Stuart Alexander & Co, BARCATS, UTS, UNSW, Raise Foundation’s Fundraising Advisory Council and The Centre for Social Impact Advisory Council. He is an Ambassador for Legacy Australia. Garry is passionate about giving back to the community via charity organisations and through his work with young CEO’s and up and coming leaders. He recently launched his book “Brand New Brand You”, which focuses on personal branding and the importance of reputation and relevance throughout life.
