This week we have an amazingly interesting conversation with journalist, Amelia Nierenberg. Amelia talks to us about her fascinating and touching article in the October 28, 2019 article in the New York Times entitled “For Many Widows, the Hardest Part is Mealtime”. Amelia interviewed dozens of widowed people to hear their perspectives and experiences with eating and cooking after losing a spouse. The perspective she gained through talking with these folks is insightful and touching. She also shares her personal memories and sacred family recipes and food traditions. Amelia is a brilliant writer and journalist, and you can read her work each week in the food section of the New York Times. You can follow her @amelia.nierenberg on Instagram.
