In this message, the Lord sends His disciples away in a ship to join them later. Late that night, He comes to them walking on the sea. Peter wants to walk to Him and does until he starts to look at the wind and waves and becomes afraid. When they arrive on the other side of the sea, the men there start to bring out all the sick to Him. The scribes and Pharisees approach Him accusing His disciples of eating without ceremonially washing their hands first, a tradition of theirs. The Lord responds by accusing them of violating God’s commands by their own traditions. They worship God with their mouths, but their hearts are far from Him!
