In this message, Paul discusses that the heir, while he is a child, is no different from a slave, though he will be lord of all. In the same way, they were children under worldly elements until God sent forth His Son. Now, they are not slaves but sons. Yet they are turning again to the weak and beggarly elements they were under before! Paul fears lest his labor among them have been in vain. He reminds them of how in infirmity of flesh he proclaimed unto them the first time. Where is the blessedness they spoke of then?
