She believes a major part of optimal health includes having supportive relationships, community, and social connection, so during Covid-19 quarantine, she started a Facebook group called White Coat Romance. This is a space for single healthcare professionals to virtually mingle, get to know one another as friends and/or potential romantic partners, and provide support among a group that understands the unique challenges and demands of the various healthcare professions. She is a hopeless romantic with a long-time fascination with technological innovations, which led her to now develop the White Coat Romance Dating App for a larger audience consisting of single white coat professionals with healthcare doctorate and master’s degrees, health science/research PhDs, and doctoral candidates (students), with its unique feature of NPI verification or other verification.
