Andy Hobbs (Theatre director, mastermind behind Guerilla Shakespeare and presenter of the Facsimile Arts Radio Show.) joins us to chat about his favourite corner of cinema: the creature-feature. We chart the evolution of this cinematic form from Godzilla in the 1960s right up to the modern heights of Sharknado 2 and offer some unsolicited advice to Edgar Wright (because of course he's listening) in his first foray into the creature-feature: Grasshopper Jungle.
The Pop Culture Radio Show is presented by Nigel Doylerush and produced by Sarah Corke. It goes out live (with all the music we have to leave out for the podcast) at 8pm on the first weds of the month on Kilburn to Kensall Radio. Listen live at - www.ktokradio.com
