Kimo Alameda is running for mayor in the County of Hawai’i. He’s a local native Hawaiian, with deep knowledge and understanding of local traditions and values, and he’s also a trained psychologist. Kimo was most recently the Vice President of business operations at Hawai’i Island Community Health Center, CEO at the Bay Clinic, and instrumental in providing mental health services to all kinds of folks throughout the island. Kimo was also lead on the Hawai’i Island Fentanyl Task Force.
