Daniel Gaztambide is a quintessential student of psychoanalysis. His book, “A People’s History of Psychoanalysis: From Freud to Liberation Psychology” is profoundly insightful and he is also an assistant professor and assistant director of clinical training in the Department of Psychology at the New School for Social Research. Daniel is a recipient of the “Teacher of the Year” award by Mount Sinai St Luke Department of Psychiatry and is a prolific performing poet on the NYC spoken word scene.
