You’ve closed the deal and you’re probably chomping at the bit to get your hands on your new business and start working it.

 

First off, remember:  Your new employees and leadership have their caution radars going off all over the place.  So you need to love on them, and not change much as you first take control.

 

They need to know that their jobs are secure and that you are going to take care of them.

 

So what do you do when the manager/supervisor quits after three days of working with you?  Do you freak out and give up?  NO!  This is where you show your cool, and quickly go through the checklist in your head of what needs to be covered immediately, and then go through the steps of finding the proper replacement or replacements for that individual.
