I am chatting with Ev’Yan Whitney about what it is like to be in an open relationship, and how her and her partner made the shift to an open relationship over the course of three years. She outlines her struggles and shares the importance of having the hard conversations with your partner. She gives some prompts for your own self exploration and shares her belief that we can all discuss our relationship and sexual narratives with our partners for reasons of expanding pleasure and welcoming relationships with others, but also as a point of reference for depended emotional understanding and creating a deeper understanding of each others deeper needs and fears within the relationship.
