You've probably noticed more and more plant-based meat, dairy and other foods popping up at your local store and a lot of restaurant menus. Is plant-based eating just the latest diet fad? While these sometimes highly processed meat and dairy alternatives may be a step in the right direction, mounting science shows that eating mostly whole, plant foods is not only one of the best ways to prevent and in many instances reverse heart-disease, cancer, diabetes, Alzheimers and more but also can do a lot to increase our productivity and mental and emotional well-being every day.
