Brock Beard: 'NASCAR Mother-Tongue'

On this episode of the Planet Shivers Podcast, I am joined by Author, Journalist, Motorsports Documentarian, and NASCAR Historian, Brock Beard. Brock and I speak fluent NASCAR, covering how he got into the sport, and all he does donw revolving around the sport. We talk about his book on NASCAR independent driver, J.D. McDuffie, and upcoming book on 1990 Daytona 500 champion, Derrike Cope. We talk in depth about his NASCAR docu-series, “Rise of the Field Fillers”, and his series, “500 Days”, encompassing Dale Earnhardt’s final race, and all leading up to it, and following. Afterwards to talk about our standout races, and a little bit on the state of the sport currently.
