They share their lives in the cockpit of a speeding car, driving    a city block in a second. We all look for trust in our relations, but try trusting your other half traveling at almost 200mph, around the hairpin curves and the varying conditions of the Pan Americana race—a ten-day festival of speed that pits man (and wife) against treachery. We have all heard of the Daytona 500 and the Indianapolis 500, but I want to present to you an event you may not be aware of. Each October racers from around the globe assemble in Mexico to participate in the La Carrera Pan Americana-- a road race that takes driver and machine from sprawling country roads, to tight city streets.
