It is a new offseason over at Pinstriped Prospects, so we have decided to change the name of our podcast, which will be now called Chasin’ 28. The Yankees will be going for their 28th World Series title in 2021, so we will chase it along with them every step of the way. This week, Ricky Keeler is joined by James O’Connell, Alexis Farinacci, and Paul Pagnato to discuss the latest news in baseball.
First, they go over New York picking up Zack Britton‘s option and whether or not the team should bring back Brett Gardner to their outfield in 2021 after declining his option. Then, they go over D.J. LeMahieu being an AL MVP finalist and how much would be too much in order to bring the infielder back to the Bronx. Plus, should the Yankees have given Masahiro Tanaka a qualifying offer?
