To talk about multilevel selection and its public policy implications is Evolutionary Biologist and Anthropologist David Sloan Wilson. Professor Wilson founded Binghamton University’s Evolutionary Studies Program, better known as “EvoS.” He has authored several books exploring various facets of multilevel selection, including “Darwin’s Cathedral” and most recently “Does Altruism Exist?”. He also co-founded the Evolution Institute, the first public policy think tank rooted in modern evolutionary theory.
