I never would've thought that I would ever create a comparison between a show on TLC and the history American colonization of the Philippines. This week is a super interesting one, myself and Kathy, our guest for this episode, dive into the world of Big Ed and Rose Marie's relationship from "90 Day Fiance." These observations we've had in the past, but we wanted to do something that was a little more comprehensive, and doing so by bringing evidence to support our claims.

This episode is not to be taken too seriously, it's mainly the two of us having conversation based on observation, and bouncing off ideas, and seeing where things end up. And, maaaaaan, the rabbit holes that we dived into were definitely real deep. Surprisingly, we've only scratched the surface of American colonization in the Philippines.

Again, take this episode with a grain of salt. This episode is based on our own observations. The parallel between Big Ed and Rose's relationship and American colonization is not fact, is our opinions.

Thank you to Kathy for being on this week's episode and vibing with us!
