On Episode 36 of the Philosophical Weightlifting podcast I was joined by Chris Taber. Chris is a very well-rounded individual, receiving his PhD from East Tennessee State University, competing in weightlifting under East Coast Gold and Leo Totten, and coaching weightlifting/teaching at Sacred Heart University.
In this episode we cover all things weightlifting and much of the research that guides Chris’ approach to coaching weightlifter. This includes: recovery (sleep, other modalities), nutrition, programming (frequency, intensity, periodizing training), and much more.
This was a great episode and I look forward to having Chris on again in the future to answer listener questions!
