On Episode 20 of the Philosophical Weightlifting podcast I was joined by Mike Tuchscherer. Mike has quite the extensive resume as both an athlete and powerlifting coach. Mike began powerlifting in 1997 and has since been a force in the sport. He is also the owner and head coach of Reactive Training Systems.

His achievements include:
- Winning the Gold Medal at the 2009 World Games
- Winning 8 USA Powerlifting National Championships
- Setting multiple World Records
- As well as coaching numerous successful powerlifters

A few of the main talking points of this podcast were:
- Mike's background
- How Mike’s programming has changed over the course of his athletic and coaching career
- What his current model of programming looks like
- Why and how to use pivot blocks in your training
- Why Mike does not always prefer a general taper before competition
- What is one thing you can do each day to better you life
- And so much more

This was an awesome show and one of my favorites thus far. I am honored to have had this opportunity. Thanks for listening and if you enjoy what you heard give us a like, share, and subscribe for future episodes.
