Sabrina Tarbox is someone I’ve come to know in only the past three years. Growing up in rural, east Texas, Sabrina’s childhood centered around the rustic life. She grew up feeding her goats, running around and playing outside, and hearing comments that suggested she was “heavy, beefy, or too stocky.” When her father died, Sabrina began a journey to discovering who God was to her: “I don’t have a father, so you’ll have to be my Father now,” she’d said.
Today, you’ll hear Sabrina’s journey to win her university’s first Ninja Warrior event where she beat every male participant, the impact of her father’s death at age 9, her life’s pursuit of health and wellness for herself and others, and the steps she took in marrying her husband and my longtime friend, Chandler Tarbox.
