What is Socially Responsible Investing?
Socially Responsible Investing is an investor who believes in a cause that has to do with saving the world or in our case protecting the environment and preserving the land as untouched organic agriculture for future generations. This type of investing differs from conventional investing which is solely based on returns and exit strategies.
About Maria
Maria Arias Zeballos worked with the United Nations and has lead the effort to introduce the standard of the marketing and trade of organic products back in 1995 in Beijing. NGO task force chair from 1992-2015. Former Director of leading Japanese Foundation for environmental sustainability and organic farming. She has made substantial contributions to the elimination of arsenic water and contamination in Bangladesh. She is the Co-Founder of ISSER, NGO advocacy work to the United Nations. Recently Maria was asked to participate at the Gross National Happiness International Conference by his Royal Highness, Jigme Khesar Namgyet Wangchuk, King of Bhutan. ;
About Stephanie
Stephanie Badillo is a real estate developer that specializes in commercial real estate projects globally. She began her career over 30 years ago when she founded her company. Through her artist view, design sense and building abilities she has worked on numerous projects throughout the world. She started her own development company in 2015 and is focused on working solely on sustainable, passive solar and net positive developments. In addition Stephanie is licensed in Commercial Real Estate in her home town of New York State.
