This episode presents an approach to Tetralogy of Fallot, a cyanotic congenital heart defect. The pathophysiology, anatomy, and clinical presentation will be reviewed. Listeners will be able to develop an approach to diagnosis, work-up and treatment. This podcast is developed by Katie Girgulis a medical student at the University of Alberta with the help of Dr. Andrew Mackie and Dr. Karen Forbes. Dr. Mackie is a pediatric cardiologist at the Stollery Children’s Hospital, and Dr. Forbes is a pediatrician and medical educator at the Stollery Children’s Hospital.
