This podcast was produced by PedsCases and the Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS), and aims to summarize the recently published 2017 CPS Practice Point on the acute management of croup in the emergency department. This podcast was developed by Dr. Alia Sunderji, and Dr. Oliva Ortiz-Alvarez. Dr. Sunderji is a third-year paediatrics resident at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. Dr. Ortiz-Alvarez is a pediatric consultant physician and Assistant Professor at Dalhousie University in Halifax.  Dr. Ortiz-Alvarez is also the lead author on this guideline.
