Previous Episode: Episode 3. It's ok to be selfish.
Raised in the religious Deep South, Katie Crenshaw made a big move when recently came out as queer. She’s brave, unapologetic and just all around badass.
She's a mom of 3, she wrote a best selling children’s book about body positivity called Her Body Can, she's a blogger, podcast host and activist. In 2016 her open letter to critics of her daughter’s facial birth mark went viral.
Something she said that hit me: “when you lay it all out there, people can’t use your own truth against you and then you kind of just don’t care anymore.” When you own your truth the haters lose any power they have over you. 👊🏻
