As an animal rights lawyer based in Canada, Suzana’s law firm focuses on cases concerning animals. Her non-profit organization, Animal Law Advocacy, aims to increase awareness and education on animals as well as their human companions and treatment.

Suzana relays how her experience as a volunteer at a municipal pound inspired her to get to know more about animals and to eventually understand their situation. She has also published articles about the cases of animals in North America and how the law can benefit, protect, and rescue them from their situation. With her legal practice, she continues to better the lives of animals in terms of pet ownership, treatment, and lifestyle.
