On this episode we have Phillip Diehl, Phillip is currently a LHP in the Colorado Rockies organization.  This past season he made his MLB debut with the Rockies. On this episode we talk about his journey to the big leagues.  Starting out as a pitcher who didn’t pitch much in high school, however was still able to go pitch at the University of Evansville before realizing after his freshman year that it wasn’t the best fit. He then had to transfer to Wabash Valley Junior College and explains what the JUCO process is like for a player. After a season at Wabash Valley he was afforded another opportunity to transfer again to Louisiana Tech before getting drafted as a Redshirt Junior. Phillip also takes us through what it was like to back a late round pick and still make it to the big leagues.
