His entire life Monte wanted to do one thing, coach. Even back as a young teenager his dream was to one day become the head baseball coach at his high school.  His journey has taken him to several stops all in the great state of South Carolina. Now, in his 5th year as the head baseball coach at Clemson University, Monte shares what he’s learned along the way. How he became a better recruiter, what it takes to build a good culture, how to implement technology into a program, teaching plate discipline, the mental game, and so much more!  I really enjoyed this interview with Monte, as he is on the cutting edge of player development, and hungry to learn more!
