Welcome to The Road to the Show. I wanted to start this show to give back to the baseball industry that has given me so much. I will be bringing on influencers to help give you all information that could help further your career. I hope you enjoy! On our very first episode we have a very special guest. George Foster, an 18 year MLB veteran who finished an outstanding career with numerous accolades including an NL MVP award, 5x All Star, 2x World Series Champion, 3x NL RBI Leader, 2x NL home run leader, and a silver slugger award. George has a very outgoing personality that you will love when listening to him. We talk about particular teammates of his including Pete Rose and Willie Mays. His funny and inspirational stories will give you an inside look of what it was like to be on the Big Red Machine. We get into detail about his mental routine that he used before every game to help get him in the right mindset. How he was able to breakout and hit 52HR to go along with a 320AVG and 149RBI to win the NL MVP award. George is someone who gives back to the community and volunteers his time to kids in the Cincinnati area. I have had the pleasure of knowing George for the past three years and I can’t put into words the amount of knowledge I’ve gained from him about the game of baseball.
