Every morning I have a routine.  It’s a process – Brush my teeth, wash my face, deodorant, check blood sugar, take medicine/vitamins then have my coffee while watching Good Morning America.  My entire family knows my process so I rarely have any interference or hiccups getting my day started.

What I just describe to you is my morning WORKFLOW.  It enables me to manage my expectations and the expectations of those around me.  Imagine how TOGETHER you’d feel if you had a set process for how you attacked your work day – your business dealings – your customer experience…. A workflow consists of an orchestrated and repeatable pattern of activity, enabled by the systematic organization of resources into processes that transform materials, provide services, or process information. It can be depicted as a sequence of operations, the work of a person or group, the work of an organization of staff, or one or more simple or complex mechanisms.

I’ve found that being honest with what I need and what I like to do and about what I do best, is a great way to begin organizing the way I navigate my personal and business dealings.  In this Inc.com article, the main takeaways are this:

You have to take a close look at what’s working
Think outside the box, and
Create a process to achieve consistency in your output.

Workflow is such an important part of growing and scaling your business, I went the extra mile in sharing it with you….

Recently, I IG “stalked” (not really, but true…lol!) and befriended Jenna Daykin of In the Details Darling.  The first thing that struck me about Jenna’s Instagram profile was the tranquility of it.  It was so soothing and relaxing to view and it gave me the impression she would be AS tranquil and soothing to talk to.  I had to find out so I reached out and it just so happened I was looking for someone in the virtual assistance business to interview on the podcast.  I know how important duplicable systems and creating workflows has been for my business and I wanted YOU to hear about it from someone (besides me) who’s doing it and doing it well. Thankfully Jenna agreed and she’s opening up about ALL THINGS workflow in this weeks episode of P. B. & Style.

During this interview, you’ll learn:

What question yielded the response “Gaining trust and Bringing Value”
The #1 thing you can do to have another set of hands without hiring another employee
The #1 way to overcome “the comparison game” that every successful business owner practices
How Jenna connected the dots from who she is to how she wants her brand to be seen by her desired client
How developing your own personal brand plays a key role in onboarding people into your business
AND MORE!

If creating a workflow sounds like a daunting task for you, this Workflow Worksheet I created will gently guide you through the process.
