The McFarlands touch on the Irish famine and the reason their ancestors made their way to Canada. Its a heavy subject, handled with the respect it deserves.

Don't fear though, the usual Growing Season humour is not forgotten. Jack, Matt and Lynne play a game involving "Oh Danny Boy" and they chat about the gloriousness of Irish Whiskey - one of the loves of Matt's life.
