In Episode 2 of Out on the Paddock, we look at the upcoming summer of WA Country Cricket with a special focus on the exciting new Women's Country Week. We are joined by Janelle Phillips, a key member of the organising committee who brought to fruition, the first ever edition of Women's Country Week held in Geraldton in January 2021 and is part of the planning for the 2022 carnival. Janelle joins Rob and Steve Philippe to look at what to expect for this summer and reflect on what took place last season. The news section of Episode 2, also gives the opportunity to hear about all things WA Country XI for season 21/22 as Rob and Steve are joined by Australian Country Cricket Championship winning Coach, Tim Edmonds. Finally, we are joined by current Mid West Regional Chair and WA Country Cricket stalwart, Gerard Marquis, who outlines his extensive journey through several decades of playing, coaching and administering in WA Regional Cricket, across multiple regions of WA.
