Before discovering constellation work, Aitabé was a New York City high school teacher, where she taught science and math and found creative ways to integrate mindfulness practices. She took refuge in the Chan Buddhist tradition with Venerable Master Sheng Yen (1931 - 2009) in
2003 and received the bodhisattva precepts in 2006.
Aitabé writes,
“the question that calls me in this moment: what can I do to help all people be free and able to embody their authentic selves?”
