“I am a champion. I am a survivor. I am a fighter.”

Melissa lives her life with no regrets and NOW believes that everything happens for a reason! Melissa was raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She has been married for 20 years and has a 17-year-old daughter. Her father passed away when she was 5 and her mother remarried a couple of years later. Melissa’s family then became like The Brady Bunch! When Melissa was young she aspired to be a vet but things changed and when she graduated she went to college for a little over half of a semester. She packed up and moved to Washington after time passed she got married for the first time. With all the challenges that came from her marriage she decided to leave it, this left her feeling disappointed in herself and made her question…“What am I doing?” At first, she drank her feelings away but she had great friends who lifted her up and she just kept working. She moved back home then decided that she had to prove that she could make money and do things on her own.

As time passed, Melissa got remarried to her current husband! Throughout her journey, there have been many exciting ups and extreme downs. Melissa was in a very dark place for a big part of her life. After trying many doctors... after moving from medication to medication.. after many attempts to kill herself… after not receiving a job despite her education and qualifications… after wanting to give up on life... She finally found a doctor and a company that influenced and helped change her life. Now Melissa lives a life filled with purpose, personal growth, and love for all (including herself)!
