Let me be clear, I have done a remarkable amount of inner work that has allowed me to build the beautiful, balanced life and successful, thriving business that I have today. But even still, I find that there are parts of my story that I would prefer to sweep under the rug—thoughts I have about how my business “should” look or how my story “should” have unfolded. And well, when it doesn’t look that way or it didn’t happen that way, I felt an immense amount of shame around it. While you know that I’m not one for “should-ing” on yourself, I’ve found that keeping these things to myself has only built them up in my head and brought up even more fear around them (funny how that happens, right?). So in this series, I’m pulling back the curtain and sharing the things I’d rather not share. Not only that, I’m owning them. My hope is that this series will help you to embrace your own imperfections, release the shame you may be feeling, shine a light on your own challenges, and start OWNING IT so you feel empowered to get more of the results you’re after in your own life and business.
