REIA Radio Episode 40 features Rob Church who hails from Plattsmouth, Nebraska - a town of 6500 people. Rob’s first exposure to Real Estate investing would come at age 18 when his mother decided to house-hack a triplex and rent out their primary residence. At this time, Rob was already on his way to College where he would attain his Bachelor’s degree in Education. After a bad student teaching experience, Rob settled into into financing for some time. While working full time, he was able to purchase 4 single family rentals, one of which he converted to a duplex. His Failing Forward helps us to understand a couple of things: proper due diligence when purchasing a business or any asset and the power of persistence and never giving up even during the most unfortunate of circumstances.
