Journey to the Blue Sky Episode 12: Ice Age: Collision Course

In this episode of Journey to the Blue Sky, Arun and Patricia discuss about the 2016 Blue Sky Studios animated film Ice Age: Collision Course, the fifth and final film in the Ice Age franchise. Manny and Ellie's daughter Peaches is about to get married to a young mammoth named Julian and ready to move out, but then an asteroid is about to crash the Earth and destroy everything. It's up to Manny, Diego, Sid, Buck, and the gang to head to the location where the previous asteroid that killed the dinosaurs crashed in to figure out how to avert the one coming in elsewhere in the atmosphere.

When the film premiered in theaters, it made $408 million dollars out of a $105 million dollar budget receiving negative reviews from critics calling it "unfunny, unoriginal, and derivative from the previous films". What did Arun and Patricia think of this film? Listen and find out.
