It’s Friday afternoon and that means we’re hitting you with a brand new episode of Oilersnation Radio to help you finish off what’s left of your week with an hour of all things Edmonton Oilers. On today’s show, we looked at the Oilers' winning streak, horse meat sandwiches, the trade deadline, and a whole lot more.

Kicking off this week’s podcast, we got started with a chat about the trade deadline and what the Oilers would have to do at the deadline to even feel satisfied with the work Ken Holland has done. Would we be happy to hit the deadline buzzer with only a depth player coming to town? From there, we looked back at last night's game against the Buffalo Sabres and how the Oilers pulled out a dominant win against a bottom-feeder team that they should beat more often than not. Not only did the Oilers win that game but they also got some reinforcements with Jesse Puljujarvi's return to the lineup, meaning that Edmonton is as close to being healthy as they've been all year. We also looked at Mike Smith's win over the Sabres and whether or not it could be the start of some confidence building for the veteran netminder. Lastly, we wrapped up this week’s podcast with another round of Ask the Idiots and Hot and Cold performers to recap what was a very busy week here in Edmonton.
