Last weekend, the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas attacked and killed hundreds of Israeli civilians, sparking an all-out war. In the wake of the attacks, President Biden, Gov. Kathy Hochul and Mayor Eric Adams have all staunchly spoken out to support Israel. But the New York City chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America decided to hold a rally in support of Palestine and now the group is facing harsh criticism. NY1 political reporters Bobby Cuza, Dan Rivoli and Bernadette Hogan weigh in on city leaders’ reactions to the conflicts and how their positions may affect their political future.
After that, Mayor Adams recently returned from his four-day visit to Latin America to discuss and learn more about the migrant crisis, including stops in Mexico, Ecuador and Colombia.
