What is The Knee on Trac?

The Knee on Trac is a medical device that helps your knee joint to produce more synovial fluid. In case you do not know what synovial fluid is I will tell you. The synovial fluid acts like a lubricant for the knee. Synovial fluid is made up of many components like hyaluronan, lubricin, proteinase, collagenases, and prostaglandins. The knee takes on a great deal of stress and can be a major cause of discomfort for many people. When the stress on the knee becomes too great it can start to wear down or tear the meniscus causing irritation and knee pain. Adequate levels of synovial fluid helps protect the knee from inflammation which leads to degeneration of the knee.
