Real hoopers are going to appreciate this one. Sam Clancy Jr. joins us on the podcast today! The USC and overseas great shares his hoops story from beginning to end in an episode that we know you’re going to love. 

Sam Clancy Jr. is the son of former NFL player, Sam Clancy. His father was also an incredible college basketball player at Pitt and a member of the Gold Medal-winning 1979 U.S. Pan American Games basketball team. Clancy Jr. chose the basketball route where he won a state championship with Steve Logan. He went on to USC where he became the school’s all-time leading shot blocker and was the Pac-10 Player of the Year. He was the 45th overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft and went on to have an incredible career overseas. He shared some great stories about his father, Steve Logan, USC, Elite 8 run, NBA Draft process, Allen Iverson, Larry Brown, WILD experiences overseas, and MUCH more!

We had a great time with this episode and appreciate Sam Clancy Jr. for coming on today. He is such a huge staple for USC and overseas basketball and it was truly an honor to learn about the journey. We are forever grateful for the experience!
