Chris Wright: Former Georgetown Hoya & Only NBA Player With MS

Today’s conversation doesn’t get more inspirational than this. We got another Hoya on the podcast! Chris Wright joins us today to share his incredible story for an episode that we know you’ll love and appreciate.

Chris Wright was a decorated high school star from St. John’s College HS, he is the school’s all time leading scorer and went on to be a McDonald’s All-American where he won the 3pt Contest. He went on to play at Georgetown where he was a key player for some great Hoya teams and continued his career both overseas and in the NBA. Chris was diagnosed with MS while playing professionally. He became the only NBA player with MS and he shares all about his diagnosis and his inspiring journey with MS both on and off the court. Chris went from being told that that he would never play basketball again to playing for the Dallas Mavericks, making an All-FIBA Europe Cup team, Turkish League Assists leader and inspiring SO many by becoming the face for bringing awareness to MS in the NBA.

 Chris was an incredible guest and we are so grateful for his time. He shared awesome stories about Georgetown, Stephen Curry, NBA Draft process, experiences overseas, Mark Cuban, Dirk, his journey living & playing professionally with MS, his podcast and MUCH more.
