Episode 7: Fake Founders and First Offenses

It's a new episode of Not Each Other (that's actually two new episodes fused together. It's complicated). In the first batch, Marty and Nicole discuss Penelope Gazin and Kate Dwyer of Witchsy, two female entrepenuers who found that they recieved a lot more respect from their subcontractors and other business associates when their male co-founder Keith handled the business end. One thing though - Keith doesn't actally exist. Next,  Marty introduces Nicole to advertising icon/object of conservative hatred "Pajama Boy" as they discuss possibly the worst ways men can respond to news of  a natural disaster. Finally, some surprising information about Home Improvement star Rim Allen.

CORRECTION: In this episode, Marty says that Witchsy used their fictional co-founder to talk to investors. This is incorrect. Witchsy was/is self-funded.

In the second half of the show, Marty does his Yom Kippur apologizing and explains why Judaism has the best Return on Investment of all major religions. Then Marty and Nicole rage against the world of internet film critics - of which Marty is one - for their embrace of noted harrassers and assaulter like Devin Faraci and Harry Knowles. (Content Warning: The second half of this episode contains discussion of harrasment and assault). Nicole tells a story about the concept of "first offenses" and Marty screams into the void about the constant redemption of terrible people. It's... it's not a fun one, folks.
