At the beginning of October in 2014, I was hanging out with Kareem at a business meeting in La Jolla, California. We had a great time hanging out at his home with his wife and 6 month old, Jordan. We even went to Sea World.
3 weeks later, Kareem was fighting for his life and was told he had 24-48 hours to live if he didn’t have emergency surgery. How could this happen to a guy in his 30s who was in the best shape he’s ever been?
