Jim Simon used to travel a lot. All of that travel naturally led to the consumption of a lot of protein bars. He was disappointed by the ingredients in the bars, however, and had to resort to using Google to find out what he was eating. He wanted to find clean honest snacks not loaded with too many sugars and processed foods. He couldn’t find what he was looking for, and so JiMMYBARS was born.
Jim Simon is an ex-tech entrepreneur who decided to go offline for his next venture tackling the US obesity and food chain problem by launching the clean protein bar line, JiMMYBAR. It is the first to market functional food bars in the snacks category and they can now be found in over 15,000 locations.
In this episode, G. Steven Cleere is joined by Jim Simon to talk about his clean & honest protein bars, the keto diet, and the benefits of selling products online on Amazon.
