"Dios mío, ¿qué ha pasado aquí?" 😮 Las personas que caminan por la avenida de los Campos Elíseos no pueden creerlo: el Arco del Triunfo ha sufrido un cambio espectacular.
El ayuntamiento de París ha cubierto el monumento con una tela metálica de color blanco. Una pareja de artistas (Christo y Jeanne-Claude) concibieron esta idea en la década de los 60. Muchos años después, la ciudad la ha hecho realidad.
El Arco del Triunfo cubierto de tela
El proyecto ha costado 14 millones de euros para solo 16 días de exposición. Los visitantes pueden acercarse a tocar la tela 👐, e incluso pisarla (si suben a la azotea).
Aunque menos famoso que la Torre Eiffel, el Arco del Triunfo es uno de los símbolos de París. Fue construido por orden de Napoleón a principios del siglo XIX para celebrar las victorias del ejército francés. Es una obra imponente que siempre maravilla a los turistas. Pero esta es la primera vez que lleva un "disfraz" tan original.
¿Qué os parece? A mí me gusta. Me recuerda a esas almohadas que usamos en los aviones. 😅
