Previewing Exodus with Dr. Nicholas Reid

In this episode, Nate has the opportunity to ask Dr. Nicholas Reid some background questions about the book of Exodus. They discuss the big picture of ancient Near East culture, particularly Egypt, as well as how to understand archaeology and its relevance for our reading Exodus. Dr. Reid also helps set the story of Exodus in its broader biblical theological context.

Dr. J. Nicholas Reid is Associate Professor of Old Testament and Ancient Near Eastern Studies at RTS Orlando. He is one of the editors of Covenant Theology: Biblical, Theological, and Historical Perspectives, a work that we will hopefully be able to discuss more in the spring.
