How to Read the Bible: Job

The chapter on Job in A Biblical-Theological Introduction to the Old Testament: The Gospel Promised is helpful for understanding the structure of the book. An accessible commentary on Job is John Walton’s volume in the NIV Application Commentary series. Also useful is Tremper Longman’s volume in the Baker Commentary on the Old Testament Wisdom and Psalms series.
