The Foo Fighters, unlike say Wal-Metallica and Taylor Swift-mart (I affectionately tease), are supporting independent record stores with their newest album, MEDICINE AT MIDNIGHT. Dave Grohl and the guys are offering up a light blue vinyl version of the new record as an Indie Exclusive. Soul Asylum, another band that got its start in the 90s, is doing an Indie Exclusive of their 1995 release LET YOUR DIM LIGHT SHINE. You can pick this up on root beer-colored vinyl.

In the News:  Kind of a quiet week, other than P.J. Harvey and Blackpink scheduled to make impressive debuts on the Top 100 Vinyl Records chart.

Coming Soon:  Neil Young & Crazyhorse are releasing their 1990 show from The Catalyst in Santa Cruz on a four vinyl box set. The set is scheduled for release on February 26th and will also include two CDs and the DVD from the show.

Vinyl Record of the Week:  3 years, 5 months & 2 days in the Life of... by Arrested Development is a recent import vinyl purchase. It's an album that both Jenn and I loved when we were young. From Mr. Wendall to Tennessee, the vinyl is spectacular.
