New music on vinyl for January 29, 2021, perhaps starts and stops with the Korean pop girl group Blackpink and their new vinyl record called THE ALBUM. The youth love Blackpink so much, that even Selena Gomez and Cardi B join the vinyl fun.  If Blackpink is not in your wheelhouse, then perhaps you'll enjoy four more John Prine albums including BRUISED ORANGE, or maybe you want a little metal up your backside. If so, Accept's brand new TOO MEAN TO DIE has arrived. Danny Elftman is back again this week with the EDWARD SCISSORHANDS soundtrack.

In the News: Run-DMC's RAISING HELL is finally shipping from Mobile Fidelity; .Top 10 vinyl albums of the week; Watch out for Barry Gibb's GREENFIELDS on vinyl.

Coming Soon: While there's no radio hits on their debut album, Judas Priest's ROCKA ROLLA new vinyl record is still pretty cool. The reissue arrives on February 19th, 2021 and it a spectacular colored vinyl that is a translucent grape with opaque white featuring black splatter.

Vinyl Record of the Week:  It's definitely not Barry Gibb's new record. It is however Pat Travers' BLACK PEARL. It's an album with a mix of great guitar work and melodic rock, with a twist of some unconventional songs.
