This Sunday, we talk about Reading for the Life of God, based on Chapter 2 of David Watson's book, Scripture and the Life of God. Our scripture will be Hebrews 4:12, *"For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires."* The reality is that God's Word is alive and powerful because we serve a living God! One of the most powerful ways to have an encounter with the living God is through Scripture. God wants to meet us on the pages of his Word!
